Boulder opal is mined exclusively in Queensland, Australia, and is the second most precious opal in the world (following black opal, which is also mined in Australia as well as Nevada). This is a clean-faced stone with a vibrant play of color.
Genuine, clean-faced boulder opal. Freeform stone measures approximately 1" high by 0.5" wide and is set in a fine silver bezel on a sterling silver backplate with a watercolor leaf texture.
Hangs on a sterling silver tiny paper-clip chain with handmade hook and eye clasp. Necklace total length is 18".
