Rainbow moonstone kept a secret until we put a dark background behind it. The oxidized sterling backplate on these studs draws out the blue adularescence the way a dark sky makes stars visible — what was there all along suddenly blazes. Each freeform rose cut stone is approximately 5/8" across, substantial enough to be a statement without tipping into costume.

The cutout bezel lets light enter from the sides, feeding the flash. The backs are finished with a geometric cutout pattern and the Arete Adorned maker's mark stamped directly into the silver — because the back of a handmade earring deserves the same attention as the front. Flower ear nuts for a secure, polished fit.
