This is a composite stone made of Kingman turquoise - meaning the stone is created by combining small pieces or chips of real turquoise and binding them together with a resin. It's a way to ensure all of the precious material is used, even when there's not enough to cut a larger stone.

Set in a fine silver bezel on a textured sterling silver backplate. Lightly oxidized for a luxurious finish.
